Chalet La Source has implemented measures to promote biodiversity , particularly among microfauna. Benefiting from a large natural area rich in vegetation, large trees, a nearby stream and a spring, the Chalet offers numerous advantages for a wide variety of small animals.

The first project is a large insect refuge, also known as an "insect hotel" : this mini-chalet is designed so that numerous insect species can find shelter, nest, and overwinter there, each according to its needs. Other structures will be added over time to complete this "Biodiversity Trail" .
