Acumbanyat organizes trail outings framed by day, for experienced runners wishing to discover the technical trails of the Pyrenees, while enjoying the sumptuous setting of the Coeur de Parc.  

Near Cauterets, it is at the small vignemale (altitude 3032 meters) that your guide will take you, on the Cauteresian granite; a demanding course, both physical and technical, where running and fast walking will alternate.

The climb begins at the Pont d'Espagne (altitude 1500 m), where a warm -up race leads you to Lac de Gaube (1725 m) : behind the magnificent lake, the small vignemale is then in sight. The ascent continues, more technical, to the refuge of the Oulettes de Gaube, at 2151 m . From this point, another 1000 meters D+ await you to reach the top of the small vignemale!

An outing for trained athletes, where the essential is not the time but discovery, technical improvement and effort management. 

Excellent training for the Balcons de Cauterets trail , which takes place every year in July!

Of Italian origin, the "via ferratas" are routes to the rock , made of cables, levels, monkey bridges and bridges. Of solid but light construction, their crossing is often acrobatic. There are several in the Cauterets region:

Via Ferrata the alias Tyroliennes

2 km from Cauterets, it is a park adventure specializing in Tyroleannes: over 1000 meters, 5 successive ziplines transport you from one rocky spur to another.
