Acumpanyat organizes guided day trail runs for experienced runners wishing to discover the technical trails of the Pyrenees, while enjoying the magnificent setting of the heart of the Park.  

Near Cauterets, your guide will take you to the Petit Vignemale (altitude 3032 meters), on the Cauterets granite; a demanding route, both physically and technically, where running and fast walking will alternate.

The climb begins at Pont d'Espagne (1500 m altitude), where a warm-up run takes you to Lac de Gaube (1725 m) : beyond the magnificent lake, the Petit Vignemale comes into view. The ascent continues, becoming more technical, to the Oulettes de Gaube refuge at 2151 m . From this point, another 1000 meters of elevation gain await you to reach the summit of the Petit Vignemale!

An outing for trained athletes, where the focus is not on time but on discovery, technical improvement and effort management. 

Excellent training for the Trail des Balcons de Cauterets , which takes place every year in July!

Of Italian origin, the "via ferratas" are routes to the rock , made of cables, levels, monkey bridges and bridges. Of solid but light construction, their crossing is often acrobatic. There are several in the Cauterets region:
