In the heart of the village of Cauterets, the bee pavilion is a space dedicated to beekeeping and bees.
An ideal place to learn about these fascinating insects and their importance in our ecosystem.
Passionate beekeepers will guide you through an interactive visit, oriented towards "sweet beekeeping" , as respectful as possible of the well-being of bees, nature and man.
You will also discover the history of beekeeping, the importance of bees for the pollination of plants, the different species of bees, the melliferous essences which each give a particular flavor to honey.
You will learn how bees produce honey , wax and other derivative products, and the work of beekeepers while respecting the environment.
Finally, you can visit the apiary and participate in different workshops : gingerbread, candles ...
But the most unique moment will certainly be the one you will spend in " bee room " .
A rest space, where vibratory hives are inserted. Bees circulate there freely, and their particular frequency transmits a subtle energy to this polarized wooden room. Comfortably installed, for 30 to 50 minutes, you are as in energy wells where you feel these vibrations, for a moment of deep relaxation.
So, immerse yourself in the mysterious world of bees, and you will regenerate to the rhythm of their vibrations!

On the two sections of the cable car (departure from Station de la Mongie) and on different pic's slopes, many routes are possible. The elevations range from 500 meters to 1500 meters, and the slope from 30 to more than 50 degrees.

Around Cauterets, two stations allow the practice of Fatbike on snow: Luz-Ardiden and Barèges Grand Tourmalet.
The Acumpanyat Ice School
Alone or two, summer and winter, you descend the slopes for almost 800 meters: accelerations, noted turns, guaranteed sensations!
Offered in July and August by the guides of Luz-Saint-Sauveur, she takes the GR 10 trail from the Luz-Ardiden station, on almost 900 meters of elevation to the village of Luz.
